So our scan went very well. Little Bear is extremely stubborn (not that surprising) and even had the tech saying that he was the most stubborn baby she's ever had for an echo. He was not going to hold still at all for her. It was a long hour of flipping me from side to side to finally get all the images, but it was so worth it. Everything checked out just fine, all they found was the cord. So now we'll be seeing the specialist in 8 weeks for a follow up so they can check on his growth and also because apparently my doctors should have been checking my thyroid levels more frequently then they have been. So she's going to be following up with me on that to make sure that they're listening, and make sure that my SPS and asthma stay under control as we get further along. He is continuing to measure almost exactly a week ahead, and they estimated him at weight 1 pound and 5 ounces, so that's a good 9 ounces about the average. That actually makes me feel a lot better about how sick I've been, because at least it's not hurting him at all.
I'll be finishing up some burp cloths hopefully this week, and recovering our ottoman, so hopefully there will be some craft photos up soon. Then I need to go buy some more fabric for a ring sling and maybe even the couple of aprons I keep saying I'm going to make just to my size. I've gotten enough cleaning stains on some of my clothes lately that at least till my coordination is better, I may very well be going back to just wearing an apron while I'm working around the house.
